Short version: we check tracking without tracking you.

This website

Plumfinch uses no analytics, ad pixels or third-party scripts on its own site. We set no cookies. To prevent abuse, the server keeps your IP address in memory for a few minutes to limit the number of scans; it is not written to disk.

Scans

When you scan a page, our browser visits it like an anonymous first-time visitor. We store the scan result: the tags and IDs the page loads and the request addresses they send, so the report link keeps working. We do not store cookie values, and if a page leaks a visitor's email address into a tracking request we report that it happened without storing the address.

Your email address

If you give us your email to see the full report or join the early-access list, we store it with the scan or plan you chose. We use it only for that report, for early-access invitations, and for product news if you ticked the box. We never sell or share it. Ask us at hello@plumfinch.com and we will delete it.

Monitoring (coming)

Monitoring will use read-only access to your ad and analytics accounts and will store only aggregated numbers, such as conversions per hour. It never changes your tags, ads or accounts.
